@MattWhitlock @RoKhanna It sells. Because it appeals to the common, and most dangerous flaw in democracy. That you can take from some and "give" to others. So long as that illusion is maintained then you can buy votes with it. The programs never work of course but that is a feature, not a bug.

@RoKhanna They never united on it. They were forced into it. The New Deal policies were struck down multiple times by the Supreme Court as unconstitutional. Still are. Then FDR threatened the SC and all of the sudden they became constitutional. And here we are dealing with that debt.

@nagor76 @AntoninWR @Geiger_Capital They can't be sincere. The Fed exists. At any moment it can and eventually will intervene on behalf of Congress. Thus the market can't really set the true rate as it would bankrupt the nation or invoke hyperinflation.

@classy_cutie03 @cturnbull1968 Amazing how often people want to violate the 2A. According to the left, we can't even ask for an ID to vote. Yet, not only do I pay taxes on any 2A purchase, I have to deal with regulations, and even provide an ID to buy one. And we can't ask for an ID to vote. Haha.

@theficouple Yes. Tuition rates ran higher than inflation. Why? Because government backs the loans. Now government nationalized the loans. Making Government the largest predatory lender out there. Colleges are smart, they jack up tuition because they can and government aids and abets.

@SicarioScott Lets flip that. If having an ID to vote is a violation of said right... Then requiring an ID to buy a gun is a violation of my 2A rights. On top of taxing it, issuing any fee, or generally regulating it is also a violation of my 2A.

@FUDHelpdesk @mcuban 1. Increasing taxes doesn't fix any problem. 2. Why raise / have taxes at all when government simply prints the difference and will continue to do so even with higher taxes? 3. Have an issue with rich people? End the Federal Reserve. Fixes a few problems right there.

@Vinny_ @TMLutas @MilesTaylorUSA That is a policy proposal. Once he won the nomination, people start queuing up at the border. When he won, they flooded through the border. And he let them in as he said he would. I guess words and proposals have an effect.
