In some tests Fable is coming out cheaper than Sonnet 5 (!!) Turns out large models are often more token efficient per job because they are more intelligent and need to reason less Smaller models can reach the same outcome but only after a ton of reasoning Imo the sweet spot is the smartest model possible on the lowest reasoning (eg Fable, 5.5). You still benefit from the big model smarts while getting faster responses and often a cheaper bill

Claude Fable 5 will be available again globally tomorrow. After a series of productive conversations with the US government, we're redeploying the model with a new set of classifiers to target and block more cybersecurity tasks. In the near term, some routine tasks like coding

@marias_martin Hmm that does sound weird! I would guess that its a random false flag, I imagine most new Reddit accounts are bots/spam so probably false positives happen alot What happens if you create a new acc?
