@jamesoniam @brysonkjones Don’t get me wrong, we used FPD LINK @ScytheRobotics and we had some snafus but they were probably 90% with libargus on Jetson (mostly HDR). Most of the rest were just shitty cheap cables and then it was super solid for us. Other sensors can go over GMSL as well.

@jamesoniam @brysonkjones Fair points. PoE misses out on a lot of things that can be huge wins, like precise camera trigger sync, low latency DMA from Jetson ISP into RAM (no network stack overhead), and rock solid timestamping. I come from a SLAM world and all those things make a large marginal gain
