There's some level of AI denialism I can relate to. Saying "AI can't replace software engineers", ok I can relate. Saying "AI doesn't matter. It'll never write good code" is hard to take seriously. For those who make these claims, I ask you a simple question, "how would your life have changed if you had Claude Code in 2012?" You don't have to answer it publicly. Just honestly think about this to yourself alone and tell me again that AI doesn't matter.

GLM 5.2 is actually good. The open source model quality debate is basically settled now. But for regular software development, running models locally still doesn't make sense. Setup is a pain, next model drops and your hardware is obsolete, and the cost doesn't beat just paying for Claude or Cursor. Privacy is nice, but for most dev work it's just not worth the hassle.

It'd be awesome if I could brainstorm with Grok and then just say "post this conversation on X." Grok would draft a clean version of the idea we just came up with, show it to me for approval, and post it directly. That flow would be a game changer. @elonmusk, please make this happen.
