I get a ton of messages from people asking me about tips for starting a business. While I can’t tell them what line of business to go into, i do know a few things after building an account from $0 and 0 follows into a multimillion dollar business w 130k followers, so I’ll share a tip every few days or so here. The first tip is: Be available 24 hours a day. Every day. Why? Because your competition is not. If you’re an accountant and someone needs emergency help at 10pm on a Friday during tax season and they know you’re open and their accountant is closed…who are they gonna have to call? You. Clients love companies who are available 24/7 (in some capacity at least).

$BABA : With a cumulative investment of RMB 7.6 billion, Alibaba is the industry investor with the highest stake in CXMT. On July 9, Alibaba announced a cumulative investment of approximately RMB 7.6 billion in Changxin Memory Technology, making it the industry investor with the highest ownership stake. According to Changxin Technology’s prospectus and public filings, Alibaba first acquired a stake in December 2021. After multiple rounds of financing that diluted its holding, Alibaba’s initial investment represented roughly a 1% stake. Three and a half years later, in June 2025, Alibaba significantly increased its investment, raising its pre-IPO ownership stake to approximately 5%, comprising a 3.85% stake held by Alibaba Cloud Computing and a 1.12% stake held by Alibaba Network. This brings Alibaba’s total cumulative investment in Changxin Technology to approximately RMB 7.6 billion. It is understood that Alibaba Cloud Computing was also one of the largest single investors in Changxin Technology’s final pre-IPO funding round. (Source: Securities Times)

At 11k employees, our AI costs are going up. Which model & harness should we use to lower cost but also retain great quality? We didn't want to blindly trust public benchmarks. So we ran a comprehensive evaluation on our tasks, code base, infra. It's been produced by more than 3,000 software engineers, spans 3 hyperscalar clouds and many languages and tasks. The results are surprising. We find that for the SAME mdoel, the choice of harness can significantly save costs (~2x). We also find that GLM 5.2 performs extremely well.
