If these ongoing reports and narratives are true, then something very serious is happening behind the scenes at Liverpool. The idea that PR influence could be used to shape opinions against a player like Mo Salah simply because he speaks on current issues is deeply worrying for supporters. Fans are not blind, they can see when stories feel managed, and when narratives suddenly shift in convenient directions. Liverpool should never be a club where image control is placed above honesty. No player who has carried this team for years should feel targeted or isolated for speaking openly about the reality inside the club. What supporters demand is simple: transparency, respect, and football-first decisions, not behind-the-scenes media battles or manufactured perceptions. Because at Liverpool, truth should never need protection from PR. It should stand on its own.

A #HillsboroughLawNow thread It has been almost 37 years since the Hillsborough Disaster 51 years since the Birmingham Bombings. 49 years since the convictions of the "Shrewsbury 24" were overturned. The Infected Blood Scandal started as far back as 50 years ago, and people have continued to die ever since. 48 years since the Association for Children Damaged by Hormone Pregnancy Tests formed their campaign group. We know that Grooming Gangs have been operating for at least 30 years. They STILL continue today. Nuclear test veterans were exposed to radiation during atomic tests that took place nearly 74 years ago and occurred over a period of 15 years. 26 years since the nightmare began for all those involved in the Post Office Scandal. 12 years since 7 year old Zane Gbangbola died in his bed. Nearly 8 years and 9 months since the Manchester Arena Terror attack. 8 years since it emerged that the Home Office had not properly recorded the details of those involved in the Windrush Scandal. 7 years since the horrific Grenfell Tower Fire. 6 years since 15 year old Gabriel Santer fell to his death and 6 years since the Covid-19 pandemic claimed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. 3 years since Headteacher Ruth Perry took her own life following the brutal, unfair OFSTED inspection. Too many different injustices with the common factor that NO ONE has ever been held accountable for the wrongdoings and the cover-up of every single appalling tradgey listed above. Those of us left behind are bereft, exhausted, forced to relive the trauma time and time again, and yet we STILL wait for a Public Accountability Bill. In its entirety. 4 weeks since we agreed on a brief pause whilst the amendment for Intelligence Services was dealt with. Yet STILL have to wait. We STILL sit here in deep angst as we wait for change. We always knew that implementation of a new law, that prevents people from lying and covering up their wrong doings was never going to be easy. Those who fear the consequences of their wrong doings, are those who fear the truth. And those who fear the truth are the ones with the most to hide. Im not interested in "i told you so's" or "i always said this Bill wouldn't work" because unless you've been an active member of the campaign or "in the room" the facts are - you DONT know. Now isn't a time for gloating. It is not an opportunity to point the finger at the likes of me and Margaret and say that we have failed. It's a hurdle. It's a challenge. It's an opportunity to reiterate how serious we are. We said a Hillsborough Law in its entirety. We mean it. The prime minister has listened. If he hadn't we would all be sat in Parliament right this minute listening to the report stage debate but we're not - because he cancelled it......so the families of the Manchester Arena Terrorist Attack could speak with him. I was in the room and I watched, as he listened. Minister Davies-Jones has listened. What we need now is action. We just need this carve out putting right, and then we have done it. All other sections of the Bill are strong, and what campaigners like those in Hillsborough Law Now have spent 10 years campaigning for. That is a huge achievement and something to be immensely proud of. But, the stance remains clear. All or nothing. There's is a very real prospect that we will have to walk away. And that will be devastating. Many of us are broken and exhausted. Creating a law isnt just submitting a piece of paper into parliament and saying - "put a stamp on that". Its negotiation, rewriting, arguing your case, begging, tears, anxiety, fear of failure, literally not sleeping for nights on end. And that's not just for campaigners, that includes the MPs and Ministers who genuinely care too. We are human. The Report Stage will take place on Monday. I have personally told the Prime Minister that he has 48 hours to relook at the amendment our campaign group has already submitted. And if on Monday the MPs who have backed Ian Byrnes amendments have to vote against the government's proposal, then so be it. Our message was clear. All of nothing. It remains the same. ALL OF NOTHING. There is no threat to National security. There is no risk of intelligence being leaked. We just want ALL public servants, and officials to have to tell the truth at a public inquiry or an inquest. MI5 lied to the Manchester Arena families for SIX years. That is not protecting National security. That is protecting THEMSELVES.
