I had early access to 5.6/Sol for ~month. Sol is my default. It is faster, plans/judges just as good as Fable, and I think produces better overall work. I’ll reach for Fable still for highly targeted debug or performance work with clear reward functions. A cheeky way I describe

@tomasmarekk @galshirart You have to realize that only certain percent of people can be exceptional at their profession. There has to be normal distribution of people at different level, if ceiling is raised to top 1% we can’t assume that everyone can reach that level as that never was the case

@Hesamation I’ve been playing it since yesterday and I didn’t yet see the big drop in capability since first launch of Fable 5. It takes a lot of time to process prompt, and my case could be different building react native app that doesn’t integrate any backend yet
Thanks to Fable 5 I added some cool features to the mental math app on ios. The bottom sheets are nice improvement over lack of customization of challenges. #buildinpublic

I already saw this discussion play out on Hacker News. To be honest, it was about coding. Those software houses all popped up to create MVPs because they could code, not because of amazing experience with delivering high-quality engineering solutions. I worked in many companies, and most of the people had one primary skill: coding.
