সে'রকম প্রতিটা অসময়ে ভালোবাসাবাসি মানুষদের আশেপাশে কে যেন গান রেখে যান। মানুষের ভালোবাসায় সুর দিয়ে ক্রমাগত নিজেকে সৃষ্টি করে যান ঈশ্বর।
ছেলেটির বুকপকেটে চানাচুরের দাগ, বাঁ পায়ের আচমকা ছিঁড়ে যাওয়া চামড়ার চটিতে সেফটিপিন। লঞ্চে ঝাপসাচোখজোড়া এক মেয়ের হাতে অগোছালো আধখাওয়া চানাচুরের ঠোঙা, আঁচলের সেফটিপিনের ভেসে গেছে। নদী ক্রমশ চওড়া হয়ে আসে। না দেওয়া চিঠি, না পাওয়া চিরকুটের ভারে কলকাতা নুয়ে পড়ে প্রায়।
ভালোবাসায় দু'একটা না দেওয়া (অথবা না পাওয়া) চিঠি না থাকলেই নয়। "কত কিছু বলা হলো না"র ধুত্তেরি না থাকলে যত গান, যত কবিতা সব মিথ্যে। সন্ধের ঘোলাটে আলোয় যে ছেলেটি ফ্যালফ্যাল করে চেয়ে রইলো ঘাট ছেড়ে যাওয়া লঞ্চটার দিকে; সে ফ্যালফ্যালে সমস্ত সিনেমা মিথ্যে হতে বাধ্য।
এই সময়ে দাঁড়িয়ে আশাবাদী না হওয়াটা ক্রমশ অসম্ভব হয়ে পড়ছে। ওই যে বললাম, স্বর্ণযুগ; আজ না স্বীকার করি, কাল আমরা নিশ্চয়ই নতজানু হব।
সবচেয়ে বড় কথা তারা মানুষকে চিনিয়ে দিচ্ছেন কোনটা ঠিক, কোনটা ভুল আর কাদের আজ বেদম না পেটালে পরশু নির্ঘাত মহাপ্রলয় ঘটবে। "আমরা আপনাদের সঠিক তথ্য দেব, আপনারা নিজের বুদ্ধি খাটিয়ে নিজের সত্যটি চিনে নেবেন"; এই ধরণের বস্তাপচা মতবাদ তাঁদের যুদ্ধের আগুন জল ঢালতে পারছে না।
আজ আমরা ঠাহর করতে পারছি না। তবে একদিন পারব। সাংবাদিকতার স্বর্ণযুগে আমরা রয়েছি। কিন্তু ইতিহাসের ট্র্যাজেডি হলো স্বর্ণযুগের মানুষ নিজেদের সময়টাকে যথাযথভাবে অ্যাপ্রিশিয়েট করতে পারেন না।
আমার গল্পঃ "জি-ফাইভ আমার আটশো টাকা মেরে দিয়ে জাস্ট গা-ঢাকা দিলো গো"। "ক্রিকইনফোয় একটা ছোট ফুটবল স্কোরকার্ড রাখার ব্যবস্থা করলে হয় না"? "সবুজ ওয়াড়ের বালিশটা এদিকে দে, এ'টা ব্রাজিলের জন্য খুব লাকি"। "আরে ঘুমোচ্ছি না, চোখ বুজে কমেন্ট্রি শুনছি, অ্যানালিসিসে সুবিধে হয়"।
অন্যদের ফুটবল বিশ্বকাপের গল্পঃ "অমুক গোলটা দেখলি"? "তমুক কিন্তু দারুণ ফর্মে আছে"। "সেটপিসে ওরা জাস্ট অতুলনীয়"। "হাইড্রেশন ব্রেকে খেলা আর খেলা দেখার ফ্লো নষ্ট হচ্ছে ভাই"। "তা'হলে কি ব্যাপারটা শেষ পর্যন্ত গোল ডিফারেন্সে দাঁড়াবে বলে মনে হচ্ছে"? ইত্যাদি।

এই @ZEE5India সাতশো নিরানব্বুই টাকা পকেটস্থ করলে আর সার্ভিস দিলে না। রকমারি ইমেলের উত্তরে রকমারি গুল দিয়ে সরে পড়লে। এরপর এলো কাটা ঘায়ে নুনের প্রলেপ। আমার সেই ডকেট নম্বর উল্লেখ করে মেল দিলে - যথারীতি সলিউশন নেই। আছে আবদার, দিন দেখি সাতশো নিরানব্বুই টাকা আর দেখুন বিশ্বকাপ।
Update: So, @ZEE5India replied to my email. Not with a solution. But with a random subscription brochure. 🤦🏽♂️

যে পরিসরে লুচি নিজের ফুলকো লুচিত্ব হারনোর আগে মুখে সেঁধিয়ে যেতে পারে, সে'খানকার বাতাসে নির্ঘাৎ ভালো থাকার অজস্র মলিকিউল ভেসে বেড়াচ্ছে। গোড়াতেই বলেছিলাম; ভালো থাকার সমস্ত ডেফিনিশন মানুষ-ভোলানো। সিম্পটমগুলো দেখে নিজের ভালো থাকা চিনে নেওয়াটাই মানুষের দায়িত্ব।
ভালো থাকার বেশিরভাগ ডেফিনিশনই মনভোলানো। আমরা কেউই ভালো নেই, আবার কারুর খারাপ থাকাটাই শেষ কথা নয়। হইহুল্লোড় ফুর্তি হুজুগ; এ'গুলোর মাঝেমধ্যে দরকার যে নেই তা নয়। তবে সে'গুলোকে ভালো থাকার মার্কার হিসেবে মেনে নিতে ইচ্ছে করে না।
