@shawngorham Many CA firefighters live in the Boise area, and commute to CA for their 4 day shifts where they sleep at the firehouse. Families stay in Idaho with better quality of life.

@owroot I was back in my hometown in Ohio for the first time in 20 years in May to bury my mom, and was so pleased to see the old family farmhouse is still there. Four generations of my family were raised in this house, including my mom. It dates to the 1850’s. Imagine life then.

@MeghanMcCain I was in DC just after he was hospitalized and had time before my visit with Sen Risch. I saw McConnell’s office and stopped to inquire about his health, and was told he was still hospitalized. Only one staffer in reception, could not have been nicer. Took my photo on his balcony

Young Washington is a terrific movie! An unknown history of George Washington early years as a tenant farmer in Virginia and his start in the militia. A stirring story. Highly recommended!
