Ministry of Civil Aviation is pleased to announce a significant milestone in India’s aviation sector with the approval of the country’s first Private Point-in-Space (PinS) Instrument Approach Procedure for helicopter operations at Undavalli Heliport. Developed by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the PinS procedure has been designed in accordance with DGCA regulations and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Standards and Recommended Practices. PinS (Point-in-Space) procedures use advanced satellite-based navigation technology to enable helicopters to conduct safe and precise instrument approaches to heliports that do not have conventional instrument landing infrastructure. SHE-LEAPS: Digital Empowerment for Lakhpati Didis SHE-LEAPS stands for Self-Help Entrepreneur-Livelihoods and Enterprise Application for Prosperity and Sustainability. It is a digital platform for empowering women associated with Self-Help Groups (SHGs) across rural India. This is being accomplished through a unified platform for enterprise creation and performance tracking. SHE-LEAPS supports livelihood creation, enterprise growth, and financial inclusion for rural women. It supports both farm and non-farm rural enterprises, aiming to build a stronger and more sustainable rural economy. Advancing the Lakhpati Didi Initiative: ✴️SHE-LEAPS will strengthen the Lakhpati Didi mission by providing end-to-end tracking of income growth and enterprise performance. Recently, the government has increased the target of the Lakhpati Didi scheme from 3 crore to 6 crore women. ✴️The government also plans to release ₹10 lakh crore to benefit Lakhpati Didis over the next five years. पृथ्वी पर तीन दशकों के सौर तूफानों के तापीय संकेतों से अंतरिक्ष मौसम पूर्वानुमान के लिए नए सुराग मिलते हैं भारतीय खगोल भौतिकविदों ने इस बात की नई जानकारी हासिल की है कि अंतरग्रहीय कोरोनल मास इजेक्शन (आईसीएमई) नामक बड़े सौर विस्फोट सूर्य से पृथ्वी तक की अपनी यात्रा के दौरान ऊष्मीय रूप से कैसे विकसित होते हैं, और यह ऊष्मीय अवस्था पृथ्वी के चुंबकीय वातावरण को बाधित करने की उनकी क्षमता को कैसे प्रभावित करती है, जो रेडियो संचार, विमानन मार्गों और बिजली ग्रिड को प्रभावित करती है। सूर्य के बाहरी वायुमंडल से निकलने वाले चुंबकीय प्लाज्मा के विशाल विस्फोट (आईसीएमई) अंतरग्रहीय अंतरिक्ष में यात्रा करते हैं। जब ये आईसीएमई हमारी ओर आते हैं और पृथ्वी के चुंबकीय क्षेत्र से टकराते हैं, तो वे इसे विक्षुब्‍ध कर सकते हैं और भूचुंबकीय तूफान उत्पन्न कर सकते हैं। इन तूफानों का उपग्रह संचालन, जीपीएस और रेडियो संचार, विमानन मार्गों और बिजली ग्रिड पर प्रतिकूल प्रभाव पड़ता है, साथ ही पृथ्वी के ऊपरी वायुमंडल में रंग-बिरंगी प्राकृतिक रौशनियां (अरोरा) भी उत्पन्न होते हैं। सूर्य की गतिविधि का स्तर 11 साल के चक्र में बदलता रहता है, और इन चक्रों के चरम के दौरान अधिक आईसीएमई उत्पन्न होते हैं। वर्तमान चक्र, संख्या 25, का चरम 2025 में था। भारत सरकार के विज्ञान और प्रौद्योगिकी विभाग (डीएसटी) के अधीन एक स्वायत्त संस्थान, भारतीय खगोल भौतिकी संस्थान (आईआईए), बेंगलुरु की एक शोध टीम ने सूर्य से 1 खगोलीय इकाई (एयू) (पृथ्वी के निकट) पर आईसीएमई के तापीय व्यवहार का पहला दीर्घकालिक सांख्यिकीय अध्ययन किया। इस अध्ययन में 1995 से 2024 तक तीन सौर चक्रों (23, 24 और 25 के उदय चरण) में फैले 29 वर्षों के सार्वजनिक रूप से उपलब्ध प्रेक्षणों का उपयोग किया गया। विवरणः pib.gov.in/PressReleasePa… @IndiaDST

आज International Day of Parliamentarism क्यों मनाया जाता है? इसी दिन 1889 में Inter‑Parliamentary Union (IPU) की स्थापना हुई थी. उस दौर में यूरोप के ज्यादातर देशों में राजतंत्र था, और दुनिया का बड़ा हिस्सा उपनिवेशवाद के अधीन था. उस समय दुनिया में केवल कुछ ही राष्ट्रीय संसदें थीं - लगभग 25. ऐसे समय में Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) की स्थापना की गईः 30 जून 1889, पेरिस में. तब गिने-चुने देशों - ब्रिटेन, फ्रांस, इटली, बेल्जियम, डेनमार्क, हॉलैंड जैसे देशों ने इसमें हिस्सा लिया था. राजवंशों के दौर में संसदों की भूमिका पर सोचना और लोकतंत्र की जड़ों को मजबूत करने का संकल्प लेना एक क्रांतिकारी विचार था. भारत 1949 में IPU का सदस्य बना. आज इसके सदस्य देशों की संख्या 183 है. #InternationalDayofParliamentarism हमें याद दिलाता है कि लोकतंत्र की नींव कितनी कठिन परिस्थितियों में रखी गई थी. @LokSabhaSectt @IPUparliament @mpa_india
