@Codie_Sanchez Consulting can be so many things though. As for restaurants and vineyards, I tell my wife if we ever win a gazillion dollars playing the lottery we can open one because we will be able to afford to love the money!

@theficouple Then you lose your job. Then a big roof leak happens, etc. You have an extra $132k lying around on top of sufficient reserves, etc.? Sure, maybe. But taking every last dollar of liquidity and optionality that you have to retire a mortgage? NOT a no brainer.

@SenWarren The language here is interesting. It's not "BILLIONAIRE wealth tax" anymore. It's ULTRA-MILLIONAIRE wealth tax. This is not casual or accidental. It's priming the system with looser definitions so that it can be applied to smaller and smaller amounts of wealth w/o being a lie.
