Just checked my numbers. Before the “updates” this week I was sitting at 11.3% engagement relative to followers. Now I’m back at 1.5%. The exact same dead zone I was stuck in before they "fixed" it. Funny how that works. If you haven’t looked at your own numbers lately… maybe you should do it. This doesn’t feel like an accident. They’re dialing the reach back down on purpose. I guess we're back to the extortion promotions, thoughts?

In 1987, my first choice without a second thought would have been the Eagles. But they were sitting out the decade in their famously rocky hiatus, leaving a massive void on the concert calendar for me. There was only one other lineup back then that pried the money right out of my pocket, and that was The Highwaymen. Watching Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson step onto the same stage wasn't just a concert, it was an absolute gathering of American outlaws. Missing out on the Eagles stung, but seeing those four legends trade verses and share that much gravity live, made you forget all about it. That kind of lightning only strikes once.
