@garybennett12 @DavidBainesStH In 5 years, there have been 14 cases nationwide of electoral fraud that have resulted in action. I’d be confident that there have been more than 14 legitimate voters turned away / not bothered to turn out today because of the new regs in Merseyside alone.

If we’re after the best spectacle, do we really want Walmsley, Paasi, French, Croft, Lam, et al spending months out because of reckless technique?

@Halewkwoo @KilshawDan @M_Shaw1 I hope someone did / does. And I would fully expect him to be critical of Bell’s technique. Our sport is so myopic. A reckless ‘tackle’ technique which injures four people in a game (and nearly did for Dupree too) is not good for any of our clubs surely? Get it outlawed.

@Sidneykidney4 It’s a totally sensible thing to do. Gubes Wigan a huge lift up in the race for top 2 but you’re not responsible for making sure Saints or anyone else has a fair crack at the whip, do what’s best to improve your own chances. As Saints did.

@sutkins75 @leagueexpress The likes of your lot have been holding the sport back for years, pandering to the lowest common denominator. But yeah, definitely it’s because big clubs are favoured. Coincidentally they also have the best youth set ups and infrastructure. Trip wasn’t bad, a bit of traffic.

@mike_critchley Reignited my love with rugby and saints, after a period of feeling totally disconnected with the club having been called a sheep, a tub-thumper etc for wanting more than scrapping for 6th. Took us right back to the top table where we belong.

@scrappyandtom @dantomlinson92 Possibly. But it was a continuation of berating the ref from Griffin which began at the incident and continued after the hooter. Sooner or later that’s going to be a yellow. Over a nothing incident too… I’d be fuming about his stupidity if I was a Hull fan.
