I’m French. I want to talk to Americans who are about to vote Democrat. Not to insult you. To warn you. I come from your future. In France we did everything your progressive politicians promise. Free healthcare, free college, generous welfare, strong unions, heavy regulation, high taxes on the rich, a state that takes care of everything. Public spending close to 57% of GDP, one of the highest on the planet. On paper, it’s the dream. Here’s what it looks like from the inside. France hasn’t passed a balanced budget since 1974. Our debt is above 3,300 billion euros. Interest on that debt is becoming one of the biggest items in the national budget. Our hospitals are collapsing despite record funding. Our schools rank lower every year. Young people with degrees can’t afford an apartment in the city they were born in. Our best engineers leave for London, Zurich and San Francisco. And the rich you wanted to tax? They left too, and took the jobs with them. The promise was protection. The result is stagnation. The worst part is that nobody in France voted for decline. Every single step sounded generous, compassionate, reasonable. One more program. One more regulation. One more tax to fund it. Each step alone makes sense. Fifty years of them, and you wake up in a country that can no longer build a nuclear plant on time or keep its streets safe. I love America because it’s the one place on earth where people still believe they can build something from nothing. I came to Silicon Valley as a self-taught kid and it changed my life. That spirit is the most precious thing your country has. Before you vote, ask yourself one question: is the program you’re voting for making America more like America, or more like France? Trust me. You don’t want to be France.

Secession is necessary if peace is desired. The United States has become far too large in order to guarantee the citizens a “republican form of government.” What we have is a centralized corporation that manages the masses. Reducing the size of government would ensure a “republican form of government” for the citizens. Breaking the country down into several confederations based on ideology and culture would put like-minded individuals together to carry out government functions that actually work for the people. A smaller government framework will engage the citizens and hold politicians more accountable, instead of allowing politicians in a huge Congress the ability to hide within the party.

The idea that the Supreme Court has to weigh in on this is the biggest issue here, not the construction The idea is being embedded in everyone’s mind that we are ruled by the unelected judiciary, not a representative republican form of government Turning every single action by a president into a frivolous legal battle is the point here, regardless of the rulings.

Every single British Home Secretary is cleared for that job by MI5 and MI6. Shabana Mahmood's file held by British Intelligence services would include her Islamic views and her 2015 participation in helping illegal migrants ashore on the Greek Island of Lesbos. Over the past few days I have heard a number of very sober, well-reasoned commentators on the political right talking about the midterms and related polling. They uniformly speak about the House already being a lost cause for the GOP, and they focus on whether the GOP can hold the Senate. Things do not need to be this way. Trump won in 2024 by large margins. The only reason that cannot be repeated this fall is if YOU—the average Trump voter—decides to let it happen. I know, I know, I know. Trump has not made all of your hopes and dreams come true in two years’ time. You think he has done nothing, even though he has had profound victory after profound victory in areas like immigration and downsizing the federal government. You have your pet issue that has not been satisfied to the extent you demand, so you want to “Stay home and send them a message.” Yes the GOP sucks. It’s a heinous mess of self-interest and failed status quo maintenance. But the only thing worse is the Democrat Party. We are running against LITERAL COMMUNISTS who want to abolish the Senate, pack the Supreme Court, add two new deep blue states, open the borders to unlimited immigration and succumb to creeping Sharia and jihad in order to literally destroy the nation. (Plus, they will spend the next two years impeaching Trump and everyone in his orbit, fully defeating what you voted for in 2024.) So you have two choices. It’s a binary choice, there is no third option: 1. Vote for doing everything we can to pursue MAGA even if that’s not perfect. 2. Stay home and become ruled by literal Communists who want you dead. Choose. We can still win this fall, we just need the will to do it.

As I said on Fox & Friends this weekend, prosecution is not the solution when the fraud rate is > 50%. That is the case with Medicaid home health care. The Trump administration must end the whole program by revoking all states' waivers for the "personal services" billing code.

The worst presidents aren't the ones you'd expect. Not the obvious villains. The truly destructive ones wore the halo of crisis managers, men who expanded government power so aggressively that the damage compounded for generations. Abraham Lincoln suspended habeas corpus, jailed 13,000 political opponents without trial, and conscripted men at gunpoint to fight a war he centralized under federal command in ways the Constitution never authorized. Woodrow Wilson gave you the Federal Reserve in 1913, the income tax, and then dragged the country into a European slaughter while imprisoning antiwar critics under the Espionage Act. Franklin Roosevelt made both of them look restrained: he nationalized gold in 1933 under Executive Order 6102, criminalized private gold ownership, and ran price controls that turned a sharp recession into a decade-long depression. These men redefined what government was allowed to do to you. The best presidents are the boring ones. John Tyler vetoed a national bank bill twice and got kicked out of his own party for it. Grover Cleveland vetoed 414 bills in his first term alone, frequently citing no constitutional authority. Warren Harding inherited the 1920 depression (sharper than 1929 in raw numbers), cut federal spending by nearly 50%, slashed tax rates, and the economy recovered in eighteen months. You've never heard that story in a public school classroom. Wonder why. The pattern is consistent. Presidents who shrink government, refuse wars of choice, and protect sound money get dismissed by mainstream historians. The ones who explode the state get carved into mountains. Your history textbooks were written by people who benefit from big government. Keep that in mind next time one of them calls Wilson a progressive hero.

Fact check: Another world is not, in fact, possible. In reality, when these people get in power, they misuse and abuse it to try to engineer another world that can't exist, and it's close to the worst thing that happens or ever has happened. Because the world they want to engineer cannot exist, and they cannot even countenance that it is their core belief in it and theory for producing it that are wrong, and because the whole thing is a giant conspiracy theory that the only reason we don't have a better world already is because class enemies won't let us... Because of all of that, their conclusion is always that class enemies are somewhere, obviously at first and hidden later, who are preventing the new world from emerging from their crackpot engineering. Those class enemies have to be destroyed so their precious theory can "work" and the impossible new world might then emerge, so it goes from being broken to wholesale destructive, and cruelly so. People will be labeled class enemies who are not, or, as history records, will simply be punished or killed for being class enemies because quotas of alleged class enemies have to be filled even though not enough actual class enemies can be found. Lives are destroyed. Property is stolen. Inalienable rights are violated. Crimes against humanity proceed. It's all in pursuit of their literally, and I mean clinically literally, insane belief that "another world is possible" when, in fact, it is not. Their theory is wrong but it is treated as sacred and perfect, or at least directionally perfect and perfectable. Therefore its failures are not its failures but failures of implementation and sabotage. They are human failures, and the stakes are eschatological, so its failures become justifications for its abuses and its murders. The unbelievably tragic part is that this Gospel of Paranoia, Resentment, Personality Disorder, Destruction, Power, and Death is "inspiring" to people once they've caught the bug, once they've fallen for the lie that "another world is possible" and the world we have is some kind of prison keeping us from it. The Gnostic temptation stretches across the ages and all of human history, and it is a truly evil thing.

That is brilliant. Two things worth emphasizing: Those shares aren't just "not cash." They *are* the companies. Every share is capital committed to Tesla and SpaceX: the machines, the factories, the R&D budgets, the paychecks of hundreds of thousands of employees. That value doesn't sit idle. It's deployed. It's what makes rockets fly and cars come off the line. Liquidating it wouldn't free up wealth for society. It would dismantle the productive engine that created the wealth in the first place. And the deeper point: even if Musk *did* keep it all in a vault, stacked in gold bars like Scrooge McDuck, it would still be his. He earned it. He created it. Nobody has a claim on another man's property based on how they'd prefer he use it. The right to property isn't conditional on someone else's approval of what you do with it. The looter always frames it as "he's not using it right." The question is not whether he's using it right. The question is whose it is.
