@noyesclt It's Stripe deal. They want core branded button, venmo, and PYUSD. That's vast majority of the company. Advent would likely take Braintree.

@EnriqueJLores Anything less than $100 per share offer from Stripe and Advent needs to be rejected immediately. They would need to pay a true control premium, not an under handed deal to screw long term shareholders. Payments stocks are only just beginning to rise from a prolonged bear market. Few have the global branded and two sided network that $PYPL possesses. Now is not the time to sell the company. Thank you for your attention to this matter. $PYPL

$IPAY payments sector is up some 30 percent off the lows. $PYPLs recent performance has more to do with a good Q2 earrings report and payment sector movement. If PayPal’s beta is 1.5 to the payments sector, one could argue that this 50 percent move has mostly to do with a repricing in the sector rather than stripe offer. @EnriqueJLores

$PYPL why even entertain lowball offers? If a deal is on the table, shareholders deserve a meaningful premium. In my view, $100 per share should be the starting point, not the ceiling. The new CEO needs to make decisions that benefit shareholders, not just himself.

$pypl Board needs to tell stripe to go away. Anything less than $100 per share would be an inadequate offer to long term shareholders. Develop PayPal ads, PayPal world, and PayPal Bank. Buyback stock. No reason to give all of this upside to stripe. Thank you. Cc

Agree I’ve been waiting for the PayPal loyalty plus rollout this summer and it appears to be pushed back. I’m guessing the slow execution in so many areas may be tied to upgrading the tech stack. They may want this fixed more first before a big new marketing push with PayPal loyalty plus. Lores wants the sequencing done correctly.
