We'll present "Query-Based Adaptive Aggregation for Multi-Dataset Joint Training Toward Universal Visual Place Recognition" at #ICRA2026 in the poster session on Tuesday afternoon, Hall C 210, and Workshop Robots Meet Prior Maps (sites.google.com/view/icra2026-…)! QAA uses learned queries as an extensive reference codebook to boost model capacity — replacing complex score-based aggregation with a single matrix multiply for universal VPR with multi-dataset training.

Interesting. It appears like Chinese engineering schools are on an extremely sharp/peaky quality curve. If you don’t get into Tshinghua, Peking, SJTU, you are better off going to the US, where quality schools are better distributed even away from the mode.
