Good question. It's fully blocking. The workflow pauses durably until a human approves or rejects it. Zyk uses Hatchet under the hood so the pause survives server restarts and can wait hours or days. State is persisted in Postgres. Human input can be completed via the Zyk task UI, Slack, or any channel you configure. You can also set a timeout with a default action if no one responds. Nothing executes until you decide.

The workflow: Fetch all Star Wars films directed by George Lucas from the SWAPI API. For each film: - Ask me if I like the film - Wait up to 1 minute for my answer - If I don't answer, assume "no" - Log the decision At the end: - Summarize all my decisions

I tried building this workflow with n8n's AI assistant. It failed. Same prompt with Zyk. Worked in one shot.
