Nobody can deny the truth from Madam Awosika President Tinubu’s regime is the best time to invest in Nigeria, the foreign investors are not sleeping on it.
@DrKalu_ This piece of writing, I have not seen or heard the claimed author to have published it. AND it is way below any true intellectual. For you bearing Dr. and sharing same means you ought to be investigated
Believe the gospel. “…how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures..” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
Here is the lady from the Joy Soap advert in the 1980s and 90s, radiant, admired, and unforgettable, yet now aged and transformed, looking completely different. Her story whispers a timeless truth: beauty fades, applause dies, and nothing lasts forever, but the seeds of kindness, character, and legacy are what truly endure.
RE: ARREST OF PROFESSOR OKEY NDIBE- SETTING THE RECORDS STRAIGHT The Department of State Services (DSS) hereby clarifies that, it did not arrest or detain Prof Okey Ndibe at Murtala Muhammed International Airport on June 1, 2026 or any other place on that date for that matter. The current DG of the Service, upon assumption of duty, directed a review of old Watch-List Actions (WLAs), some of which date back to the Military Era. This is to ensure that citizens are not unduly embarrassed due to pre-existing WLAs. In this regard, all those who had previously been watchlisted while on transit, are routinely interfaced with as a prerequisite for a review and possible downgrade of the Action. This, being a precursor to a final delisting in accordance with international best practices. It is pertinent to state that the foregoing process is aimed at ensuring that before the final delisting, that activities, travel histories as well as current activities of these individuals are not in furtherance of and do not still conform with the reasons for the initial WLA. Suffice to point out that since the inception of the current Management , many Nigerians, including journalists have benefited from this process. This is despite the fact that the Service conducts this clearance to take care of Watch List requests from other Agencies. A case in point is that of Mr Lanre Arogundade, Executive Director of the International Press Centre, IPC, whose delisting was approved in May 2025, after over a decade on the Watchlist. In the same vein, Prof Ndibe has been on Watchlist since January 29, 2013. Meanwhile, his case has been reviewed and downgraded. Thus, the interface with him at the airport, was geared towards the final delisting of his details from the Action. As part of the routine interface involved in the process, after barely an hour of his interaction with the Service, he was cleared and escorted. Note that, even on his Facebook post, he referenced the professional, courteous and decorous conduct of Service operatives, who continue to scale their respect for the rule of law and human rights under the new Leadership. The Service reiterates that this process will continue to ensure that all Nigerians are fairly treated, with due regard to the provisions of the Law. The DSS therefore urges citizens affected by the Service WLA, who wish, to formally report same to the National Headquarters to facilitate ongoing process. However, regardless of any formal request, the attempt at hygiene regarding the WLA, will be sustained. Favour Dozie Deputy Director, Public Relations and Strategic Communications National Headquarters, State Services June 2, 2026
My therapist once told me to do something strange. He said, "Write everything down as if you're dying in 30 minutes." I laughed and said, "What? That's not true..." But before I could finish, he shouted, "Are you out of your mind? I said you're dying. Write it down!" His tone changed everything. I wanted to ask questions, but he yelled again, "Why are you wasting time on me? You have 29 minutes and 30 seconds left." So I picked up my pen and started writing. At first, I didn't know what to say. Then I wrote to my parents, my friend, my siblings. I wrote everything I never said out loud. It was like all feelings came out at once. When the 30 minutes were over my therapist told me to stop. "Rest for fifteen minutes and then I'll tell you something." I sat there breathing hard, eyes wet and totally uncontrollable heart beat. mind racing. He gave me a glass of water and said, "Now read what you wrote." I read it slowly. Every word was full of love, regret, and things left unsaid. He then asked, "Why didn't you write to your boss? Or your exes? Or the people you complain about?" I said, "Why would I write to them?" He smiled and said, "Exactly. If they don't matter in your last moments, why do they matter so much now?" Author unknown (shared from Facebook group)
INDEPENDENT NATIONAL ELECTORAL COMMISSION (INEC) PRESS STATEMENT POSTPONEMENT OF NATIONWIDE VOTER REVALIDATION EXERCISE The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) held a meeting with the Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) today, Friday, 10th April 2026, during which, among other issues, the proposed nationwide voter revalidation exercise was considered. Following deliberations, the Commission resolved to postpone the exercise until after the 2027 General Election. The voter revalidation exercise is a critical component of the Commission’s mandate to maintain a credible and up-to-date National Register of Voters. It is designed to verify and review existing voter records, ensure the accuracy of personal data, eliminate duplicate and ineligible entries, and strengthen the overall integrity of the voter register. The exercise also aims to provide an opportunity for registered voters to confirm their details and make necessary corrections where required. INEC remains committed to the conduct of free, fair, credible, and inclusive elections. Mohammed Kudu Haruna National Commissioner, Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee. 10th April 2026

From the reports I have received, our armed forces have been conducting sustained, intense land and air offensives against the insurgents, neutralising many terrorist fighters and commanders. The insurgents’ counterattack is a sign of desperation. I extend my condolences to the families of our gallant soldiers, led by Brigadier-General Oseni Omoh Braimah, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the defence of our country in Borno State. The government will never forget their sacrifices. Their sacrifices will not be in vain. Because of the courage and dedication of our troops on the frontline, our resolve to defeat terrorism and all forms of violence across Nigeria is stronger than ever. I urge the Military High Command and our troops in all theatres of operation: Do not lose heart, do not be weary, do not be discouraged. Our officers and men should continue to serve with honour, courage, and patriotism. The government will always stand by the Armed Forces, provide more of the equipment needed and ensure the welfare of all who risk their lives for our safety. I urge Nigerians and the media to continue to support our Military in their relentless battle against insurgency and banditry. We should desist from celebrating or condoning the attacks against our troops. These soldiers are our heroes; unforgettable and irreplaceable. My condolences also go to the government and people of Borno State. The Federal Government will continue to work with the state government to achieve total victory and lasting peace. Bola Ahmed Tinubu President & Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria
Yesterday in Jos on Palm Sunday a day meant for peace for hope for remembrance turned into a day of deep sorrow 😭💔 A mother on the ground holding her only son shaking him gently then desperately calling his name again and again My son wake up please wake up don’t leave me like this Her voice breaking her heart shattering into pieces as tears fall on his still body She cried she pleaded she begged heaven to answer but there was no response Only silence painful heavy silence And yet someone somewhere will call this an accomplishment Someone will celebrate this pain The Bible says in Romans 12 15 rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep But instead of weeping hearts have become so cold they celebrate the tears of a grieving mother The Lord says in Psalm 34 18 the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit God sees her tears He hears her cries He knows her pain This is not victory This is heartbreak This is a cry that reaches heaven This is enough 😭💔
“One thing I miss about Nigeria is that every time you dress up & go outside, you see a lot of men admiring you, collecting your number and trying to woo you. But here, it doesn’t happen, everyone just focuses on work” -Canada-based Nigerian lady laments
To God be all the glory for the gift of life and yet another birthday anniversary. I celebrate you and i pray God gives you divine health, strength, joy and peace as you take Nigeria to her Eldorado of great wealth and opportunities. Akanbi, omo olodo ide. This is the first time in 12 years that Nigeria has celebrated Christmas, New Year, and Eid-el-Fitri in peace! On Friday, December 26, 2025, which was Boxing Day, no less a personality than the President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Reverend Daniel Okoh, revealed that the Christmas of 2025 was the first time in many years that Nigeria had celebrated that August day in peace, without bombings, killings, abductions, or disruptions. Of course, since it was good news, that piece of significant, nationally strategic information did not receive much media attention. Peter Obi, the eternal purveyor of bad and fake news, did not amplify it because it did not fit into his narrative of de-marketing Nigeria. He had eagerly anticipated bad news during the Yuletide to feed his propaganda machine. Alas, there was none! But you may want to fact-check me by reading the Most Reverend Okoh's comments. At least, nobody can accuse him of trying to curry favour with President Tinubu. But was it only the Christmas that was peaceful? No! Nigeria entered New Year's Day without incident: no deaths, threats, or anything to negatively affect the health of Nigerians on that day. And now, we have celebrated Eid-el-Fitri on Friday, March 20, 2023, and the Durbars that followed the next day all over Northern Nigeria, without a single incident of killing, maiming, harming, or any damning event. Do you know the last time this happened? Please fact-check me: The last time was twelve years ago! Not only that, but there were no Yuletide or Eid fuel shortages. That is an all-time record. There has been no precedent for that in independent Nigeria! However, you do not see the usual suspects, activists, and professional pessimists and their foreign sponsors highlighting this fact. They are silent. Good news is not to be celebrated. But if one person had been killed by an act of terror or sheer criminality, you would have seen them hyperactively amplifying the bad news to destroy Nigeria's reputation! Do these people, or the larger Nigerian society, think that these feats on religious holy days and holidays just happened? No, they did not! They were made to happen through the planning, actions, and sacrifices of our armed forces and intelligence services. Our troops slept in bushes, deserts, forests, gutters, and other utterly nasty places so we could sleep in our beds and enjoy peace and bliss! Many of the terrorists and bandits, who in Christmases and Eids of time past had been wreaking havoc on Nigeria and Nigerians, have either been killed, are behind bars, or are in the process of being tried, including: 1. Kachalla Ali Kawaje 2. Kachalla Halilu Sububu 3. Kachalla Damina 4. Kachalla Dangote 5. Kachalla Jafaru 6. Kachalla Barume 7. Kachalla Shehu 8. Tsoho 9. Kachalla Yellow Mai Buhu 10. Yellow Sirajo 11. Kachalla Dan Muhammadu 12. Kachalla Makasko 13. Yellow Hassan 14. Boderi 15. Kachalla Dan Ba birki 16. Auta Dan Mai Jan Kai The notorious TikTok bandit, Sule Yellow, was arrested only last week by troops of the Nigerian Army, who acted on intelligence provided by our intelligence services. He was captured and arrested, mind you, not killed, so he can sing like a canary and expose his fellow marauders. Just three weeks ago, the Department of State Security captured the sixth Owo Church attacker, one Sani Yusuf, who is a high-value ISWAP asset. It is because of the proactiveness of the NSA's office and the DSS's structure that these breakthroughs, which led to peaceful festivities, occurred. Yes, I know the nature of the typical Nigerian on social media. Many will troop under this post to insult and be negative. You and I should sympathise with such folk. Margaret Mitchell, in her book Gone With the Wind, warned us about them a hundred years ago. Though she was rather racist, she nevertheless did speak some truth when she wrote that some of our race prefer spreading bad news to good.
In 2018, I lost my job in Lagos. Hid it from family for 4 months. Every morning, dressed up, carried a laptop bag, and left the house like normal. Sat in a buka in Yaba with free Wi-Fi applying endlessly. One day, my dad called me aside. “I know you lost your job.” I froze. He said, “I didn’t want to shame you. A man feels small when he can’t provide.” Then he gave me ₦20k from pension, with his arthritis bills piling up. “Hold yourself. Don’t tell your mother.” I cried that night. Not for money. But for the quiet love protecting my pride. Two months later, a better job came.
@ADCVanguard_ What's high profile in regards to the rule of law? Are you saying these people deserve special treatment? Meanwhile, these individuals did a lot or more like these being done to them. Allow them to face what they have to face. More should join them as the nation digs dipper.
