I’m being a better person by calling out this madness and raising awareness on the eventual onslaught of negative health outcomes that people will most likely not attribute to the rise in use of GLP-1 inhibitors because they don’t know how the body works and the medical industry will obfuscate accountability.
Not to mention that in order to maintain that “weight loss” (a lot of which is loss of muscle/bone density), you’d have to continue taking that medication in perpetuity because eating such low calorie for 99% of people is unsustainable because it’s so “unhealthy” your body will fight against it.
I decoy that Ozempic is clearly the catalyst which is why this exact look is all of a sudden becoming so common and so many perennially overweight public figures are “thin” in the span of a few months. Health is about your internal state and balance within your body. It will always catch up to you. You can’t fake it.
Perhaps, but your personal experience is not really relevant to the obvious increase in emaciated celebrities whom have ALWAYS been prone to eating disorders and obsession with desires of being abnormally skinny and unhealthy. But yes, Ozempic alone doesn’t “do that”. Just like steroids don’t just make you big, but when you combine them with the right (or wrong) intention, you often get extremes. Drugs like that attract those looking to cut corners and hit extremes even though some may not fit that category.
