@markvalorian The naming is reflection of the market MLS is pursuing - “serious European football” fans. That’s why they talk of kit, pitches, and matches. Problem is, the ceiling for this market is pretty low, certainly less than the MLS valuations suggest..

@daphnezohar Certainly seems true with human Tx investments, but “biotech VC” includes opps very fundable by small VC (tools, animal health, health tech, maybe Dx.) What’s everyone’s guess for median VC funding req’d for a Tx co.. $50M thru P2? If so, yeah, no way to play Tx w/<$300M fund.

@xandertilock Hoos may have identified a “Moneyball” opportunity…pay for known performance by more mature bodies. (Market overvalues potential.) This seems smarter than “reach for 18 y/o 4*recruits & hope to keep them until their play is above average,,,,but not so high they get poached.”
