If this is true this is beyond sad. Leadership as I’ve always understood it was about exploring and exhausting every possible option to ensure you’ve done all you can for the people you lead. It’s never about your own personal agenda. At least that’s my understanding of a leader.

It is frustrating to be told to discharge patients more quickly—as though we are inefficient and hold patients in hospital longer than necessary—by leaders and administrators who have no clinical background.
