I was the part of the protest when Nirbhaya protest happened. My lot of friends skipped work and were at protest sites. Taking all the heat of the police. Looking at X feed today, reminded me of that time. As a citizen raise the voice, question the administration, ask for answer and make them accountable for their job.

Most Indian fathers know their son’s marks, salary and job. They know almost nothing about what’s happening inside his head. That’s the real failure of Indian parenting, not that fathers don’t love their sons, but that most of them never become someone their son can actually talk to. Control gets passed down - Your grandfather controlled your father and your father controls you. Nobody breaks the chain because nobody questions the chain. It's inherited, like a family habit nobody chose. Many Indian parents cannot accept that their child might know more than they do. Doesn't matter if the father studied till class 10 and the son has a PhD. He'll still tell him what to do, how to do it, what career to choose. Not because he actually knows better. Because in his head the argument is simple: ‘I'm your father, you listen to me’ That's it. Children in India are rarely treated like independent adults. They're treated like family property ‘I gave birth to you. I raised you. So I decide’ That's not an adult relationship. That's a boss talking to an employee. And for most families, it never changes. My own grandfather used to say it with pride: मेरा बेटा कभी पलटकर जवाब नहीं देता। जो कहा, वही किया।(My son never talks back. Whatever I say, he just does it.) Sit with that for a second. He was proud his son never talked back, proud because it meant control, because obedience was the only currency he understood. The kid who questions becomes the difficult one, the kid who nods becomes the favourite. Think about how backwards that is. Questioning is how people grow, how science grows, how businesses grow. In most Indian homes, questioning gets treated like rebellion. You didn’t raise an independent thinker, you raised someone who learned that silence is safer than honesty. That's not parenting. That's conditioning. Call it what you want. You're not raising a son. You're raising a hostage with good manners. Lets talk about consequences - A child who’s never been treated as an equal will struggle to walk up to his father and say I’m in love with someone, I want to marry them, not because he doesn’t want to say it, but because he’s spent years learning that disagreement brings anger, punishment or emotional blackmail. So relationships go underground, secrets replace conversations, and in some families that fear quietly builds toward desperate decisions. That fear doesn’t show up overnight, it’s built over years, one conversation at a time, all teaching the same lesson, don’t question, don’t disagree, just obey. Then society acts shocked when an adult child hides the biggest decision of his life from the people who raised him. You’re treating the symptom and ignoring the disease. I noticed so many flaws: - Outdated curriculum. First 2 semesters gone in studying Physics, Chemistry, Math, Engineering Drawing. - Students are asked to write code on paper. Memorize the code, DSA. - Faculties have zero skills. You ask anything apart from books. Blank face. - Basic things like Git, GitHub, VS Code are not known to them. - No core sector jobs. All are mad to join IT sector. - IT market has slowed down. Mass layoffs. Less recruitments. - 99% students don't know what internship is. - These students don't build anything on their own. Only copy projects. Clone YouTube. Clone Netflix. Clone Twitter. That's it. - Nobody teaches students how to create an impressive resume. They still write "Playing Cricket" as hobby and "I am adaptable" as their strength in their resume. - Only 0.05% students may have a portfolio site. Most of those are copied from others. No creativity, no information. When the entire system is bankrupt, how do you expect mass recruitments?
